STAGE MANAGEMENT

 

Stage Manager (2)- positions filled

May 13 arrive / July 30 depart

$5,000 stipend / up to $300 travel / private dorm housing / 11 meals a week
Minimum requirements: preferred Master's degree and/or three years of professional stage management experience

Responsible for:

● Stage managing two shows in a four-show rotating repertory season
● Organizing and implementing the daily rehearsal schedule
● Scheduling and posting rehearsal and production calls
● Compiling production books that become the property of the festival
● Calling from the control booth the two shows assigned
● Attending all scheduled rehearsals, paper techs, dry techs, technical rehearsals and performances
● Participating, if needed, in media day
● Performing other stage managing duties that are deemed necessary and appropriate

● Assisting with company strike 

 

Assistant Stage Manager / Stage Manager Children's Show- position filled

May 13 arrive / July 30 depart
$3,000 stipend / up to $300 travel / double occupancy dorm housing / 11
 meals a week

Minimum requirement: completed undergraduate degree and/or one year of professional stage management experience

Responsible for:

● Assisting the assigned Stage Manager with all duties on two shows in the four-show rotating repertory season
● Assisting with backstage running assignments for the crews
● Performing backstage duties during performances as assigned by the Stage Manager
● Attending all scheduled rehearsals, paper techs, dry techs, technical rehearsals and performances
● Serving as the stage manager for the Children's Show
● Performing other stage management duties that are deemed necessary and appropriate
● Assisting with company strike 

 

Assistant Stage Manager / Stage Manager Talent Show and Chinese Theatre

May 13 arrive / July 30 depart
$3,000 stipend / up to $300 / double occupancy dorm housing / 11
 meals a week

Minimum requirement: completed undergraduate degree and/or one year of professional stage management experience

Responsible for:

● Assisting the assigned Stage Manager with all duties on two shows in the four-show rotating repertory season
● Assisting with backstage running assignments for the crews
● Performing backstage duties during performances as assigned by the Stage Manager
● Attending all scheduled rehearsals, paper techs, dry techs, technical rehearsals and performances
● Serving as the stage manager for the Talent Show and Chinese Theatre Night
● Performing other stage management duties that are deemed necessary and appropriate
● Assisting with company strike 

Assistant Stage Manager / Stage Manager Staged Reading

May 13 arrive / July 30 depart
$3,000 stipend / up to $300 / double occupancy dorm housing / 11
 meals a week

Minimum requirement: completed undergraduate degree and/or one year of professional stage management experience

Responsible for:

● Assisting the assigned Stage Manager with all duties on two shows in the four-show rotating repertory season

● Performing other stage management duties that are deemed necessary and appropriate
