Scholarships for 3 hours of college credit in Drama 2351 (Acting III).

The Texas Shakespeare Festival Acting Workshop is designed for serious acting students and/or beginning teachers of acting.

Daily Classes from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM

Acting Workshop Instructors:

Raymond Caldwell, TSF Artistic Director

Raymond Caldwell, founder of the Texas Shakespeare Festival, served as the chairman of the Theatre Department at Kilgore College for twenty-five years. He has directed more than seventy-five productions, ranging from original children’s plays to Shakespeare. He holds a master’s degree in theatre from the University of North Texas and has studied with Kiristin Linlater and Shakespeare and Company in Lenox, Massachusetts.

Jennifer Burke, TSF Director of Education

Ms. Burke is an assistant professor specializing in voice and speech at the University of Miami. Ms. Burke holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre from Baste College and a Master of Fine Arts degree in acting from Brandeis University. She is a Certified Associate Teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework.

TSF Professional Acting Company

Classes are also taught by the Texas Shakespeare Festival acting company, many of whom have attended leading professional theatre training programs across the country.
