Texas Shakespeare Festival in residence at Kilgore College - Kilgore, TX

The Festival is searching for qualified technical theatre artists to fill the listed technical positions in costumes, lighting, properties, scenic, scene painting, sound, stage management, ticket office, and concessions.
Stipends for technical positions vary but all positions include dorm room and eleven meals a week.
The Festival’s work call schedule is filled with the work required for a five show rotating (a different show each night) repertory season with a daily work call that is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m., six days a week for the six-week production period. The shows are performed Thursday through Sunday with matinee and evening performances each day. After the shows are up and running some members will remain to serve on running and changeover crews with a significant reduction in the daily work schedule. Most crew members will be assigned to running crews for two or three shows in the five-show season. Changeovers are scheduled in the afternoon and evening after the performances.
Although the technical crews are asked to do a tremendous amount of work, the Festival attempts to create an environment that is both nurturing and humane and one that creates a spirit of trust, collaboration, and mutual respect.
