If Shakespeare were alive today, he would be 448 years old on April 23rd, 2012!

Celebrate Shakespeare’s birthday by sending the Texas Shakespeare Festival one penny for each year since his birth in 1564! THAT IS JUST $4.48. Even if the Texas Shakespeare Festival Foundation has already contacted you, of if you have already sent in a contribution, or made plans to purchase tickets for the season, please send us your pennies for Shakespeare. Please let us add your name to our lobby display birthday card to Shakespeare by sending one penny for every year since Shakespeare’s birth.
