About the Foundation
“All the world’s a stage and all the men and women merely players.”
As You Like It, Act 2, Scene 7
Since 1986, the Texas Shakespeare Festival has produced Shakespeare’s plays to packed houses. The Festival attracts theatergoers from all over the region and state who are eager for quality, professional productions. In 2010, more than 10,000 individuals attended the festival and 49 percent of them traveled from further than 50 miles.
The TSF Foundation believes that the Festival enriches the lives of people in our East Texas community by providing cultural and educational opportunities and economic benefits for the entire region.
The TSF Foundation offers you the opportunity to support this East Texas treasure. Please make a contribution to the Festival, which depends on the support of its patrons.
Contributions from individuals and businesses provide the broad-based support and assure Kilgore College that its annual underwriting is acknowledged and matched through private donations.
The TSF Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization with the sole purpose of supporting the Festival.
All donations received by June 1 will be acknowledged in the season playbill on the Friends of Shakespeare page. We thank you in advance for your consideration and look forward to hearing from you.
