2013 Summer Season
Season will consist of a four-show repertory and a children’s show.
Texas Shakespeare Festival
in residence at Kilgore College – Kilgore, TX

The Festival is searching for qualified technical theatre artists to fill positions for all technical areas including costumes, lighting, properties, scenic, scene painting, sound, stage management, ticket office, and gift shop / concessions.
Stipends for technical positions vary but all positions include dorm room and eleven meals a week.
The Festival’s work call schedule is filled with the work required for a five show rotating (a different show each night) repertory season with a daily work call that is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m., six days a week for the five-week production period. After the shows are up and running some members will remain to serve on running and changeover crews with a significant reduction in the daily work schedule. Most crew members will be assigned to running crews for two or three shows in the six-show season. Changeovers are scheduled in the afternoon and evening after the performances.

Contract Information
Contracts range from six, ten, or eleven weeks. All contracts include housing and eleven meals a week. A limited number of positions include travel allowance. All positions are paid and vary according to position, experience and training.
Contract Dates
- Carpenters and Stage Managers arrive: May 13, 2013
- Ticket Office arrives : May 15, 2013
- Remaining Company Members arrive: May 18, 2013
- Rehearsals run May 19 – July 26, 2013
- Performances run June 27 – July 28, 2013
The majority of Summer full-season company members are contracted through July 31, 2013 to allow for a company strike and housing checkout.
