In a drought-stricken Western American town, Lizzie Curry, who is convinced she will be a spinster, falls for Bill Starbuck, a traveling con-man who promises the town he can make it rain. A charming, musical  love story about the value of hope, the importance of dreams, and the power of believing in something, 110 in the Shade is adapted from Richard Nash’s play The Rainmaker.
